Great service, great pieces, but pricing and delivery needs work
Ordered the Hunter bed. Footboard arrived damaged but didn’t notice until after white glove delivery had already assembled. Customer service handled things perfectly, first offering a fair discount and then offering to replace the damaged piece and reassemble it as I had already paid for white glove. Really fair and outstanding service!
The piece itself is beautiful and high quality.
My only complaint is the discount feature - I don’t like playing the sale games waiting for the right time to buy. And I really don’t like the store credit feature - I don’t want to have to calculate and plan my orders based on how much I can save by splitting my orders up over time. A customer will either buy multiple pieces or won’t - a store credit won’t really change that when minimum shipping fees are $129 non white glove. Make the discounts simple and transparent and forget about the store credit game.
Lastly, make delivery, especially white glove, cheaper! Why does Article charge $49 for flat rate shipping and only $169 for white glove while Rove charges exponentially more - I paid $449 for white glove on a $2,500 order from Rove and only $169 for a $19,000 order?
Rooting for Rove to compete even harder - their stuff is good, service is good. Once they eliminate pricing games and lower delivery charges, there’s no stopping them. 9 months 3 weeks
